 Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, or well known as Ubud Monkey Forest, is the  sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed macaque. It is located at Padangtegal Ubud, Bali.

The mission of The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Monkey Forest Ubud) is conserving the area based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana. Tri Hita Karana is ones of philosophy in Hinduism. Tri Hita Karana is derived from the word of “Tri” meaning three, “Hita” which means happiness, and “Karana” which means the cause or manner. Thus, Tri Hita Karana means “Three ways to reach spiritual and physical well-being”.


The substance of doctrine of Tri Hita Karana is how to make people maintain a harmonious relationship in this life. Those three relationships comprise of harmonious relationships between humans and humans, humans and their environment, and humans with The Supreme God.

The implementation of Tri Hita Karana, in addition to the  ritual performed in the temples, can  be seen in a special ritual activities related to animal, called Tumpek Kandang; and Tumpek Uduh, where the  animal and plant is the subject of the ritual. Based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana, The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Monkey Forest Ubud) will be a featured of international tourist destination to create peace and harmony to the visitors. As well as can be the heart of the city, the conservation of rare plants and plants for ritual purpose, and as a natural laboratory for educational institutions.

Please be aware you are in semi – free ranging monkey area. Monkey aren’t aggressive by nature; they will only DEFEND THEMSELVES if they fell threatened.There are some important things you should know while you are in Monkey Forest Ubud are:

  •  DO NOT PANIC, if the monkeys jump on you, please drops any food and walk away slowly. They will soon jump off.
  •  DO NOT RUN , when monkeys approach you, keep calm and do not scream. Avoid shouting as this may frighten them.
  •  DO NOT LOOK THE MONKEYS IN THE EYE, this is interpreted as a sign of aggression.
  •  DO NOT HIDE ANY FOOD,because the monkeys will know and try to find it and do not ever try to pull it back.
  •  DO NOT BRING ANY KIND OF PLASTIC/PAPER BAG. To keep the forest litter-free and to avoid monkeys taking and playing with it.

    Please TAKE CARE YOUR VALUABLE BELONGINGS

Jakarta International Velodrome is a velodrome located in Rawamangun, Jakarta, Indonesia. This Velodrome is used as one of the venues for the track bike racing branch at the 2018 Asian Games and 2018 Asian Disability Games. 

The Rawamangun Velodrome is also referred to as the best bicycle racing place in Asia by the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Cycling Association (PB ISSl), Raja Sapta Oktohari. This is because the Rawamangun Velodrome has received the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) category 1 certification, which indicates that the bicycle track has world standards and is considered suitable for international competitions.

To enter here is free, however To experience the Jakarta International Velodrome track, everyone must have a Track Cycling Permit. Jakpro in collaboration with ISSI also provides basic training and exams for IDR 250,000. For cyclists who want to make a membership card, a fee of around 3.5 million rupiah per year is charged for Indonesian citizens (WNI) and 5 million rupiah for foreign citizens (WNA) with a monthly fee of IDR 300,000 each. Hotel UTC UNJ by Naraya Located in a densely populated area in Rawamangun, East Jakarta, the new hotel that used to be managed by the campus as a practicum has now turned into a luxury hotel in East Jakarta, access to get here is quite easy because this building looks towering and the location it's right on the side of the road.

The facilities owned by the hotel are quite luxurious, as can be seen in the design of the restaurant and design room.

To enjoy and be able to stay here you can use by telephone for reservations or use agents such as Traveloka etc., or you can also come directly to the front office. For the price per room type consists of

For the room provided, the room is quite spacious, I myself was quite surprised because I got a room with a pretty good view and very spacious so that in my room I had 2 sofas to relax.

You can also enjoy the hotel's typical food menu with satisfaction, the dish is of a high standard and the taste is very suitable.

This hotel is also close to the Transjakarta bus stop, making it easier to access.
