
Jakarta International Velodrome is a velodrome located in Rawamangun, Jakarta, Indonesia. This Velodrome is used as one of the venues for the track bike racing branch at the 2018 Asian Games and 2018 Asian Disability Games.
The Rawamangun Velodrome is also referred to as the best bicycle racing place in Asia by the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Cycling Association (PB ISSl), Raja Sapta Oktohari. This is because the Rawamangun Velodrome has received the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) category 1 certification, which indicates that the bicycle track has world standards and is considered suitable for international competitions.
To enter here is free, however To experience the Jakarta International Velodrome track, everyone must have a Track Cycling Permit. Jakpro in collaboration with ISSI also provides basic training and exams for IDR 250,000. For cyclists who want to make a membership card, a fee of around 3.5 million rupiah per year is charged for Indonesian citizens (WNI) and 5 million rupiah for foreign citizens (WNA) with a monthly fee of IDR 300,000 each. There are sufficient facilities to be able to enjoy this place, ranging from clean toilets, places of worship and a large enough parking lot, so that we can enjoy sports more comfortably. Due to its proximity to the LRT and Transjakarta, it is very easy for residents to visit JIV by public transportation. The area outside JIV is also open to the public for anyone who wants to visit.
